over an IP network. For users who already installed legacy analog cameras, the GV-Video Server offers a cost-effective solution
to adopt IP surveillance in the existing equipments.
The GV-Video Server is easy to maintain and simplifies live monitoring, configuration, and system control. The user-friendly
interface allows web browser access and provides a smart and scalable monitoring over any distance via LANs or WANs. Remote
surveillance is implemented via 3GPP, IE browser and GeoVision GV-MultiView. For the purpose of central monitoring, the GV-Video
Server offers an extensible solution for multi-site surveillance and control to manage numerous cameras from subscribers.
The built-in alarm and event management software enables several notification modes to react to abnormal events. Although
tiny and compact, the GV-Video Server possesses state-of-the-art MPEG4 ASP compression technique that will not compromise
video quality. If GV-series pc-based surveillance system is already in use, the GV-Video Server offers a hybrid solution to
integrate surveillance system and video server, and to load analog and digital video into the same interface. |
