GV-Center V2 Pro |
|
The GV-Center V2 Pro is a professional version of central monitoring software
that brings multiple GeoVision GV Systems together into an integrated interface, allowing the operator to view live video
images from maximal 800 channels at its multi-functional monitoring screen.
INTRODUCTION |
The GV-Center V2 Pro is a professional version of Central Monitoring Station (CMS)
software that can be installed in a CMS server. It brings multiple GeoVision GV-Systems together into an integrated interface,
allowing the operator to manage several systems from one point of control. The GV-Center V2 Pro can manage 500 GV-Systems
and receive video images from maximal 800 channels to its monitoring screen. On an alert condition, the GV-Center V2 Pro receives
live images or event messages with attached video clips to correlate evidence of activity and instantly brings operator's
attention. |

|
|
FUNCTIONS |
Most of the alerts can be verified in video evidence before the security guards are dispatched to the site. We have concluded
13 most frequent alert conditions in a security event (see diagram below). As soon as any of the alert conditions occurs,
the GV-Center V2 Pro can automatically activate alarms to notify the operators or the designated authorities, such as security
station. The security personnel can thus verify the nature of alarms on the spot and take proper actions. Meanwhile an SMS
or e-mail message of alerts will be sent to the local GV-System subscriber or other authorities, such as school administrators.
This mechanism of GV-Center V2 Pro and its security network can successfully reduce the probability of false alarms. |

Compared to the professional version of GV-Center V2 Pro software, GV-Center V2
is a free standard version that comes with the installation CD of GV-Series software, allowing the operator to view live video
images from maximal 80 channels at its multi-functional monitoring screen.
INTRODUCTION |
While GV-Center V2 Pro is a professional version for a large central monitoring network such as alarm services companies
or chain stores, GV-Center V2 is a standard version that comes with the installation CD of GV-Series software free of charge.
It is suitable for a smaller security monitoring network for residential environment. The GV-Center V2 has all the same good
features with GV-Center V2 Pro. |

GV-Control Center |
|
The GV-Control Center provides the security service department with one point
of control to all the networked GV-Systems and I/O devices. It features remote DVR configuration, matrix view, remote ViewLog,
I/O Central Panel, and Remote Desktop.
| |
|
|
|
INTRODUCTION |
The GV-Control Center software is an integrated security management system that provides a handy tool to maintain central
monitoring station operation. GV-Control Center introduces a comprehensive solution that provides center operators with time
efficiency to control networked GV-Systems and I/O devices. With GV-Control Center, multiple GV-Systems and I/O devices within
a DVR server farm can be managed and maintained efficiently to enhance their monitoring performance and ensure smooth operation.
|
|
|
|
MAIN FEATURES |
The Control Center's features and capabilities include the followings. |
|
Remote DVR Configuration: Full control of local DVR settings |
|
The Remote DVR facilitates the administrator to remotely configure local GV-System’s specific settings
from one single workstation. When the Remote DVR is on the run, the local GV-System loses its full control of the DVR operations
and the Control Center takes full control of the configuration. |
|
Remote Desktop: Remote access to local DVR desktop |
|
When the Remote Desktop is on the run, the Control Center will receive the same desktop view of local
DVR. In the meantime, the security administrator can remotely control the local GV-System's full operations and even configure
Windows operation system of the networked GV-System at low bandwidth. |
|
Digital Matrix View: Remotely monitor, record and playback from 256 cameras |
|
The Matrix View is a single display where videos from a group of maximum 64 cameras will be displayed,
e.g. groups of office area cameras, exit cameras, or street cameras. The GV-Control Center supports up to 4 Matrix View displays
with 256 cameras on four monitors at a time. Depending on various surveillance needs, the center operator can open 4 Matrix
View displays simultaneously to view more videos from different DVRs. Each Matrix View supports live monitoring, recording
and video playback.
|
|
Remote ViewLog: Playback of recorded videos from local GV-Systems |
|
The Remote ViewLog function enables playback of all video archives from different GV-Systems. The security
administrator can utilize this Remote ViewLog to save video clips for future event retrieval or for video evidence. |
|
I/O Central Panel: Group, manage and remotely configure I/O devices |
|
The Control Center provides a useful I/O Central Panel for the security administrator to remotely manage
all I/O devices connected with GV-Systems. Administrators can group function-related I/O devices together for ease of control,
e.g. groups of IR sensors, alarms, or fire exits. In case of building fire, for example, the Control Center can trigger all
alarms on the networked GV-Systems and force opening all the fire exits or water spray systems at the same time. |
